yeah but nobody cares about what's on the inside! the phrase "don't judge a book by its cover" is the most well known AND ignored axiom in the history of axioms! we all whore/sell ourselves out to someone, sometime... if the definition of "selling out" really is doing something you don't want to do for money or prestige (sex, music, desk job, relationship) then yeah everybody does it at some point. someday you look up at the very roof over your head and think, 'man, if you only knew the shit i had to do and go thru just to get here.'

I actually defended New Jersey today. My science teacher kept bitching about how shitty it was. This would be fine with me if she was actually FROM there, but she's from New Orleans or some shit, so I told her it was the most beautiful place ever right after she called it the "Armpit Garden State."
She laughed.
